Our Story

The story of Bohowoodland started in the most personal way - through Yasmin El Bendary's own quest for the perfect pieces to decorate her marital home, leading her on an adventure that extended from Aswan to Delta, Egypt and from Bali, Indonesia to Marrakech, Morroco, where she discovered a world rich in home art.

 As she decorated her first home, she discovered something beautiful: our living spaces can express who we are, often without words. Since then, Yasmine had decided to carry all the wisdom, experiences, and artistic inspiration she gathered throughout her Journey, to create beautiful Homes. 

 

 

In 2021, this simple vision blossomed into something much larger with the founding of Bohowoodland. A space where we create home décor that is full of art, soul and purpose. Each piece in Bohowoodland is thoughtfully selected to create a space that embodies the true meaning of life & self-expression. Every item in our collection is designed to tell your unique story. We here invite you to dream and unleash your wildest visions for your living space. We invite you to just be who you are !

And as Bohowoodland grew, our mission & impact had grew and expanded beyond uplifting homes & living spaces; to uplifting homes, living spaces & local communities. Today, we proudly celebrate our diverse and sustainable partnerships with local artisan groups, manufacturers, and craftsmen from 18 different cities and villages across Egypt merging exceptional local craftsmanship and innovative techniques to create world-class, globally inspired home goods that is made in Egypt.
